Cash stolen in armed raid
Hundreds of pounds were stolen from an off-licence in an armed raid.
A man brandished a weapon at staff in The Local in Limbrick Corner, Worthing, at 10pm on Thursday and took cash from the till before running off towards the Renault garage. No one was injured.
The man was 6ft and skinny. He was wearing a hooded top, jeans and something over his face.
DS Colin O'Hare said police were looking at CCTV images of the incident but they could not reveal what weapon the man had used.
Police are asking witnesses to call Worthing CID on 0845 6070999, quoting serial 2003 of May 8, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

A story about hundreds of pounds...hmmm...mean
while possibly thousands of pounds of taxpayers money may have been at worst "obtained by deception" or at best wasted on an illegal imigrant trainee doctor at a local Brighton medical school (by way of an NHS bursary and student loan both of which I presume won't now get repaid - if indeed they were ever given - we don't know because a journalist can't or won't investigate properly). But its ok I suppose because its all taxpayers money and thats not real money is it.
The trainee doctor in his first year of a very expensive course is apparently being returned to his country as he was found to be here illegally (see other recent story). That story quite openly attempts to obtain our sympathy to his deportation.
However we shall never know the FULL story because the Argus can't or won't report a story fully and tell us ALL the facts. The Argus then just go and delete 10-20 posts like some Burmese military junta, most (if not all) of which supported his deportation.
Is this a case Mr Editor of the public response not supporting the biased political views of the Argus - dealt with I would respectfully suggest in a rather heavy handed manner by wiping ALL the posts out (is this because their number was approaching the point where the story would appear in the most read/most commented section thereby attracting a wider audience)?
Please reinstate the posts - allow freedom of speech - the vast majority of the comments were in no way "offensive" (by all means delete those that are)!...or is this a case of "offensive" just meaning that the Argus disagrees with you?...and while you are at it run the story again but this time get a proper journalist with some experience to look into it so they can report ALL the facts. Assuming you have the guts to tell the public the whole truth of course.
I am disappointed in you Argus.
Rant over...
Oh, and I hope they catch skinny above...

Yeah sorry about that - I woke up with a hangover and furry tongue syndrome!...but I feel better now.
I just don't like it when I see obvious censorship from a paper that should know better.
